Unlike some of the other places on our list, Dominique Ansel Bakery lets you have cookies and milk. If you think it’s as simple as pouring yourself a glass of milk to have with some of the best cookies in NYC, you’d be wrong."

All their desserts were more gimmicky than tasty, but they did create the original Cronut which makes food history.
