"There are warm smells of fresh baked goods, fresh coffee in French presses, coffee being ground for espresso, milk being steamed, a wall of quality teas, and people everywhere. I love The Rose Establishment not only for the coffee, but for the coffee shop atmosphere, an industrial-meets-classic diner feel. Aside from Tulie’s incredible assortment of fresh baked French pastries, they serve breakfast every morning including toasts, steel cut oats, Brioche french toast, the ever famous croque monsier, and beignets on Fri/Sat/Sun. Now called Discovery Gateway (after the Gateway Center, in which the museum sits), this 60,000-foot family fun center has numerous, stimulating exhibits that encourage children to learn about the world."

"Discovery Gateway is also neat and located right in the middle of Salt Lake City. It’s one of the few places that not only is open on Sundays but has a reduced Sunday fee ($6!) as well. Museum of Natural Curiosity in Thanksgiving Point is great fun but not cheap. Loveland Living Planet Aquarium in Draper is very popular and quite impressive for a desert city."
