"Established by Belgium-born Pierre Vandamme and fellow Belgian Philippe Wyffels, Bruges Waffles & Frites is a friendly café that serves Belgian-inspired food such as traditional Liège waffles and frites. What began as a vending cart at the Downtown Salt Lake City Farmers Market and some local summer events selling the delicious waffles has become one of the city’s go-to spots for mouthwatering waffles with a variety of sweet and savory toppings, gourmet sandwiches, omelets and scrambles, and authentic Belgian fries. Bruges has a variety of menu items but are best known for the liege waffles. You can enjoy your waffle with a variety of toppings but my standby’s are always crème fraîche and seasonal fruit (usually raspberries or peaches in the summer)!"

"Monkeywrench serves strictly vegan ice cream at their brick-and-mortar location on Gallivan Avenue that’s creamy and delicious. This small-batch ice cream shop is also owned by Boltcutter (next door), so grab lunch or dinner there and head straight to Monkeywrench (one of the best vegan restaurants in SLC) for a scoop or two. "No… this is a coffee shop in Salt Lake City which serves the best coffee, not only coffee but come Crepes, Tea and some pastry too. The place seems to be bit outside SLC but it’s a awesome coffee shops owned by the local legend in the community. Once you step into this shop, the aroma of coffee just hits your nose."
