"Resting in the Lake View Cemetery on Euclid Avenue, the James A. Garfield Monument honors James A. Garfield, the 20th President of the United States, and serves as his resting place. Designed by architect George Keller and constructed of Berea Sandstone, the monument stands 180 feet tall and contains elements of Romanesque, Gothic, and Byzantine styles of architecture, with five terracotta panels by Casper Bubel. Marble, granite, and gold mosaics with stained glass windows representing the original 13 colonies and War and Peace beautifully decorate the ornate Memorial Hall."
