You can also visit Highport Marina & Yacht Club and take part in some of their water sports activities like wakeboarding or tubing.

Day 2: Visit Denison Dam

Spend your second day at Denison Dam, located just north of Lake Texoma. Here you can get a glimpse of the Hoover Dam, explore the area and even fish off the dam. There are plenty of trails nearby for those who want to go hiking or biking. End the day by having a picnic at one of the nearby parks or taking a dip in the lake.

Day 5: Shopping Spree

Explore the many shopping opportunities in and around Lake Texoma. Stop by the Sherman Town Center for some retail therapy or browse the antique stores in downtown Denison. If you’re looking for souvenirs, swing by the Red River Outlet Mall and pick up some gifts for friends and family back home. Wrap up your shopping spree with a visit to the Pottsboro Farmer’s Market for some fresh produce and homemade goods.

Day 6: Enjoy Some Nightlife

Experience Lake Texoma nightlife with a visit to the Cotton Patch Bar & Grill. Enjoy some live music and drinks while watching the sunset over the lake. Afterwards, take a stroll down Main Street and check out the many bars and clubs. End the night with a visit to the Tanglewood Resort & Conference Center for some late-night dancing and drinks.

Day 7: Departure Day

Before heading home, make sure to squeeze in some last minute sightseeing. Drive to the Eisenhower Birthplace State Historical Park and learn about the history of this beautiful area. After that, head to the Hagerman National Wildlife Refuge and take in the breathtaking views of the lake. Finally, end the trip with a delicious meal at one of the local restaurants before saying goodbye to Lake Texoma.
