Lake George
Lake George is located in the northeast of New York State, with an area of 113 square kilometers, 54 kilometers long and 5 kilometers wide. The water from the lake is connected to Lake Champlain by a small river and finally flows into the Atlantic Ocean through the St. Lawrence River. George lake is located at the south foot of Adirondack mountain, 96.6 meters above sea level. It is in the southwest-northeast direction. It is surrounded by low mountains such as Prospect mountain (519 meters) and Blake mountain (812 meters above sea level). It is eroded by glaciers, and the deepest is about 60 meters. The lake water is supplied by mountain streams and springs. Lake area has pleasant scenery and is a popular tourist resort and resort.
