"Plans to build the first Episcopal church structure in Tennessee were set in motion in 1830. Construction began in 1889, and the doors to Christ Church Cathedral were opened in December 1894. The Gothic Revival style building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places."
"With architecture modeled after a traditional Roman Basilica, the Cathedral of the Incarnation is the third Catholic cathedral constructed in Nashville. The primary architect for the building was Fred Asmus, and construction began in 1910 under the direction of Bishop Thomas Sebastian Byrne—Saint Martin’s on the Hill in Rome inspired the design. Construction of the building finished in 1914, and the church has since undergone two major renovations."
"Construction on the Cathedral of the Incarnation began in 1907 and was completed in 1914. With Italianate architecture, the church resembles a Roman basilica. Nashville architect Fred Asmus worked with Bishop Byrne to design the church, which is modeled after Saint Martin’s on the Hill, one of the most famous churches in Rome."
"The first was Holy Rosary Cathedral, which is now the site of the Tennessee State Capitol. The second was Saint Mary’s Cathedral, which is located downtown on the corner of 5th and Church Street. The third Catholic cathedral in Nashville, Cathedral of the Incarnation, was dedicated in 1914."

"Once Upon A Time In France started in 2016 when musician/sound engineer Melvil Arnt left France to start a whole new life in Music City. Born and raised in Paris where he worked in cocktail bars and several restaurants, his passion for wine and French cuisine led him to launch the project of opening what was lacking the most in Nashville, a true wine bar. On the contrary of opening a wine bar or a classic restaurant, they opened what’s called the friendliest, delicious and affordable, staple of the French culture, A Bistro."
"Father and son Laurent Champonnois and Melvil Arnt opened the no-reservations-accepted chic 1920s-inspired French bistro on Gallatin Avenue back in late 2019, and the 45-seat restaurant was a fast favorite for date nights among Nashville locals. Whether the night calls for escargot, foie gras, or beef bourguignon, Once Upon a Time in France serves up romantic vibes and a wallet-friendly wine list as an added bonus."
"Walking from the parking lot to the restaurant you may do a double take. In a hot second, you'll be transported from Nashville to Paris. Father-son duo Melvil Arnt and Laurent Champonnois combined their life-long desires to open a wine bar and a restaurant to create this French bistro."
