Best Breweries and Beer Places in Bluffton
Moon River Brewing Company
4 (1316 ratings)4 (292 ratings)
Brewery with its own craft beers on tap, large beer garden & a full menu of American food.
"Northwest of the historic district, by the river next to the Highway 17 bridge, the Service Brewing Company is churning out sturdy modern craft brews under the guiding hand of owner/brewmaster Kevin Ryan, a West Point graduate and former Army commander whose partner, Meredith Sutton, ignited his nascent talent by giving him a home-brewing kit some years back. The couple founded the brewery in 2014. The taproom, designed by Sutton, is breezy and bright, and the brewery donates a portion of its revenues to charities supporting first responders and the military— hence the brewery’s name."
"Live music, fresh-brewed beer, and daily events keep the Service Brewing taproom full of locals, tourists, and puppies. Rotating food trucks set up just outside of the brewery entrance include favorites like The Naked Pig, Red Taco Truck, Big Bon Ghost Kitchen and Strange Bird. There is always a reason to enjoy local food purveyors and a cold beer or two or three."
"Corks on the Vine started the way all great ideas come to be: between good friends, a few bottles of wine and chatting over cheese. We are excited to build our dream within the welcoming Habersham neighborhood and the city of Beaufort."

"This museum offers you over 4,500 pieces of artwork ranging from drawings, paintings and sculptures to photography, prints and haute couture. Like many buildings and places in Savannah, this museum has a history of its own. It was once housed in an 1856 Greek Revival structure."
"Architecturally striking (but what else would you expect from this school of design?), this brick, steel, concrete and glass longhouse delivers your contemporary-art fix. There are groovy, creative sitting areas... Lighthouse in East Savannah & the Islands"

"Designed by the great Moshe Safdie, and looking pretty darn space-age by Savannah's standards, the JCA – rather appropriately, given its architecture – focuses on 20th- and 21st-century art. Be on the lookout for..."
"The Savannah African Art Museum was opened in 2016 to provide interactive experiences and educate visitors about the spirituality and beauty of African art."
"Built between 1853 and 1861 for cotton merchant Charles Green, the Green-Meldrim House – originally the most expensive 19th-century house in Savannah – is one of America's finest and most lavish examples of Gothic Revival architecture. Located in Madison Square, at the corner of West Harris and Bull Streets, it features a stuccoed brick exterior, cast-iron porch, oriel windows and an imposing front cast-iron fence. The main entrance has an iron portico believed to be unique in the United States, with octagonal posts supported by a pair of arches, while a crenelated parapet rings the roof."
"Greene Square is one of the least visited Squares in Savannah. However, this doesn't mean it doesn't deserve a visit while you're here in Savannah. You won't find any monuments here but there are a few unique houses that sit on Green Square."
