"Okay, so this one is a given- but you can’t leave the beach out!. Sneak out for lunch during the week- especially before the hot summer days- and you might just have a stretch of sand all to yourself. Want to impress the wife?"
"Mottley Kitchen has carved a niche for itself as a breakfast and lunch-only spot in the neighborhood. With items like a chicken and grain bowl, a green goddess bowl, and avocado toast, the kitchen here leans healthy-ish. The restaurant, which also doubles up as a low-key bookstore, has a solid coffee program and tons of seating, making it an ideal work spot during the day."

"Constructed in 1766 on the corner of Broadway and Fulton Street, St. Paul’s Chapel of Trinity Church has a rich New York history as part of the Parish of Trinity Church Wall Street. George Washington was said to have worshipped in the chapel following his inauguration as first President of the United States. The Episcopal Church earned the moniker “The Little Chapel That Stood,” when it survived the 9/11 terrorist attacks completely unscathed."
"A quaint building, the St. Paul’s Chapel is more famous because it is a place where George Washington used to worship. And, during the 9/11 attacks, recovery workers received round-the-clock care here. It is also the oldest surviving church building in Manhattan."
