"Smale Riverfront Park has been widely praised as one of the most beautiful new additions to Cincinnati's landscape, opened to the public in its first phase in 2012, with additional features added through 2015. The 45-acre park, which was designed by Sasaki Associates and KZF, is operated by the Cincinnati Park Board and connects the city's downtown riverfront with existing riverfront parks along its east end, with floodplain terraces developed to accommodate seasonal flooding in the region. Eye-catching landscape features abound, including the lighted water jets of Fath and Main Street Fountains, the oversized swings and shade pergolas of the Duke Energy Garden, and the unique P&G Vibrantscape playspace, which features talking tubes, a giant foot piano, and other interactive activities for visitors of all ages."
"Also called the Ohio River Trail, the Cincinnati Riverwalk winds for several miles around the water. It’s so large that it stretches between both Ohio and Kentucky, and it offers beautifully scenic views for visitors to either state. On the Cincinnati side, the Cincinnati Riverwalk serves as a “best of” trail that passes near and around all kinds of city landmarks."

"Owl's Nest Park was originally developed on a 5.5-acre plot of land at the border of Cincinnati's Evanston and East Walnut Hills neighborhoods, donated to the city in 1905 by Charles and Edward Perkins in memory of their parents' homestead, known as "Owl's Nest." Throughout the 1920s, the site added an additional five acres, bringing its total park space up to 10.4 acres today. Though its estate house no longer stands, the Perkins homestead is commemorated with a plaque, with 16 brick columns preserved from the home's original fence foundation. Bronzed doors at the park's entrance also retain the home's original landscaping, which was copied from the wrought-iron fence located near the Charles River Bridge and Boston's Harvard University facility."

"Arguably the least well-known place on this list, Larz Anderson Park, is another fantastic spot to get some views of Cincinnati. The park is nestled in a neighborhood in Columbia-Tusculum and can be a bit tricky to find if you’ve never been. The good news for anyone who heads to this spot is that there is rarely anyone else in the park, which makes it an incredibly peaceful place to enjoy the scenic views."
